ANALOG 3/4 SURF CHALLENGE 2008



On Friday 18 of July Italian top surfers put up a big show at Forte dei Marmi pier, In Tuscany, for the second edition of Analog TreQuarti Surf Challenge.  The young Angelo Bonomelli won everything possible, while Vitale ruled in the women category.

Sunrise had just past when the first riders showed up at the registration van in front of the pier of Forte dei Marmi. The famous surf spot, well known in the Italian surf circle, was chosen for as the venue.  The God of the seas was generous and there were good waves and conditions all day.


More than 50 men and women competed until only the winners remained.
Angelo Bonomelli placed first in the mens and Valentina Vitale, in the women's.

Luca Palla of Insideboardshop and gigiGas handled the mic, along with DJ Valerio on the turntables entertained the riders and audience while the sponsor village of Samsung, Inside, Xcel and Jack Magazine attracted tourists to the pier.









The special Night Expression Session started around 10, after a big barbecue for riders, Analog guests and staff.  16 of the best riders competed in waves lit by the pier lights and Circo Nero artists put up their show in between the crowd creating a mix of amazement, emotion and fairy-tale.



After everyone moved to the sponsor village where the awards took place.  Winners got their cheques and prizes surrounded by jugglers, spitfires and Samsung girls throwing giveaways.
